Chapter: Theta Eta, Area XVI
I am a proud, life-long San Diegan. After graduating from San Diego High, I earned degrees from San Diego State, National University, Point Loma Nazarene University and Northern Arizona University. I have been a teacher, district office administrator, San Diego County Office of Education consultant, principal, professor, dean of education and consultant to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Now, in retirement, my husband of 46 years, Bob, and I enjoy SDSU Aztecs sports, Padres baseball and lots of travels. Bob was an elementary school teacher for 38 years and our two grown children are educators as well. I work for the San Diego County Registrar of Voters during election cycles.
I have been a member of DKG since April 1989 and have served as a chapter officer, Area Director and on the state leadership team. My first chapter, Gamma Omicron, was dissolved this last year. I am thankful for the support, friendship, and advice from Area 16 DKG sisters. I have now joined Theta Eta Chapter.
I look forward to meeting the needs of Area XVI Chapter Presidents, the Leadership Team and our sisters throughout San Diego.
